The pay for this role is $17.16/hour. Weekend availability required.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with coordinating and managing the daily distribution of products and materials of multiple company facilities. Supports and adheres to the company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Transports materials to and from various locations.
  • Operates forklift and heavy machinery to load and unload materials.
  • Verifies accurate inventory is transferred to designated locations based on facility requests.
  • Organizes materials in outside storage yards and inside storage areas.
  • Performs ground maintenance including snow blowing or plowing.
  • Performs yard equipment/vehicle maintenance and keeps records updated.
  • Transports employees to various locations as directed.
  • Maintains accurate and current records keeping, including daily reports.
  • Carries out emergency fixes on equipment and facilities as necessary.
  • Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

  • Must be 21 years old.

Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
  • Current Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Current Forklift certification.
  • Experience with computers and Google (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Experience in routine maintenance or basic construction.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Frequently sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, grasp, walk, reach, taste, smell, climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 40 pounds, talk, and/or hear.
  • Occasionally carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
