Job summary

Livefino seeks an experienced Director of Security to oversee physical security, surveillance, and regulatory compliance across its cannabis operations. You will supervise the security team, monitor grounds and personnel, and ensure the proper functioning of video surveillance, access control, and perimeter systems to meet industry standards.

You will also develop evacuation procedures, stay compliant with state DOA rules, handle security training, and coordinate with regulators as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma with at least 4 years of honorable Law Enforcement background.
• Experience in Security and Loss prevention will be taken into consideration.
• Proficiency in First Aid and the use of AED equipment to render aid in an emergency situation.
• Must have a solid understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules, and regulations set forth by the state and the D.O.A.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
• Must pass background checks and be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the security team and ensure implementation of security procedures and plans.
• Monitor site grounds, facility, visitors, vendors, and staff.
• Operate and monitor video surveillance, access control, and perimeter security systems for compliance.
• Identify and resolve security issues, alarms, and potential hazards.
• Develop emergency evacuation plans and ensure readiness.
• Keep up-to-date with security product developments in the cannabis industry.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on violations as necessary.
