Job summary

Sweed is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive client onboarding and data migrations for our cannabis retail platform. You will map data to Sweed’s model, ensure regulatory alignment, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams in US time zones.

Ideal candidates have Python, SQL, and ETL experience, with a track record of proactive communication and handling complex data migrations in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis, transformation, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with healthcare or military/defense-like precision is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active queue of implementation tickets and projects with deadlines.
• Follow SOPs and quality checks for migrations and ETL jobs.
• Communicate blockers and revised timelines proactively.
• Triage and resolve emergencies during or after hours.
• Lead and coordinate work across implementation, support, and product teams.
