Qualifications

• Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD and an active Virginia pharmacist license.
• 2–5 years of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Retail pharmacy experience in high-volume settings is highly valued.
• Strong customer service, regulatory compliance, and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and personalized consultations for medical cannabis patients.
• Verify certifications and dispense products in compliance with Virginia regulations.
• Dedicate about 20% of time to inventory responsibilities, including tracking and rotation.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with management for availability.
• Process information for state prescription monitoring program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document removal/disposal of damaged or expired products per procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership to support daily retail operations and audits.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment for patients.
• Provide coverage across nearby dispensary locations as needed.
