Job summary

Vangst partners with a leading medical cannabis operator to hire a Pharmacist in Hampton, Virginia. You will provide patient consultations, act as on-site product expert, and ensure a customer-centric experience in a regulated retail setting.

The role includes 20% inventory focus, maintaining accurate records, and supporting audits. A PharmD or licensed PharmD with 2–5 years experience is preferred, with strong customer service and knowledge of cannabinoids.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license without restrictions.
• 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check patient certifications via online portal and review physician recommendations.
• Dispense medical cannabis medication and provide patient consultations.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct routine inventory activities (20% of time).
• Record removal of damaged/outdated medicine (Greenwaste) and support audits.
• Ensure a safe, clean retail environment and collaborates with management.
