Nature's Herbs and Wellness / High Plainz Strains in Fort Lupton, CO is seeking a full-time Lead Budtender to join our cannabis retail team. The role focuses on delivering top customer service, cash handling, supervising shifts, POS management, and ensuring regulatory compliance under MED rules while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and cash handling.
• Colorado cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Strong math and counting cash.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide professional assistance.
• Oversees daily operations during shifts, ensuring all team members take their breaks and lunches.
• Manages discounts and pricing issues in the POS system.
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment, preparing it for customers at the start of your shift and ensuring it remains tidy throughout the shift.
• Opens the store as needed, ensuring cash drawers are prepared and balanced for the day.
• Closes the store when required, including reconciling cash in the drawer, safe, and ATM.
• Addresses escalated customer service issues as they arise.
• Ensures compliance with MED regulations.
• Tracks cash movement between drawers and the safe throughout the day.
• Counts and records all tips at the end of each shift.
