Job summary

Green Health Docs in Kentucky is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to certify patients for the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program. This contract role involves in-person clinic work 1–2 days per week in Paducah and telemedicine support for patients across states.

You will perform comprehensive patient evaluations, document findings in our EMR, and help patients incorporate medical cannabis into their treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Kentucky NP license in good standing.
• DEA and Controlled Substances license.
• KY Board of Nursing certification for medical cannabis evaluations.
• Comfort with using our in-house EMR system (training provided).

Responsibilities

• In-person patient evaluations 1–2 days per week at the Paducah clinic.
• Advise patients on integrating medical cannabis into treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program.
• Maintain accurate notes and medical records in the EMR system.

Pay: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join our team and assist in certifying patients for the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program. Kentucky has legalized medical cannabis for a wide range of conditions, and we are committed to providing access to this alternative treatment option. As a national company with offices in Utah, Maryland, and Mississippi, we also offer telemedicine services in 30 other states. We take pride in being the leading provider of medical marijuana evaluations, having served over 100,000 patients to date.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Work in-person 1-2 days a week in our Paducah Clinic
• Patient Advocacy: Support patients in incorporating medical marijuana into their treatment plans.
• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of patients for the medical cannabis program.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date notes and medical records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license to practice in Kentucky.
• Certification: DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and Controlled Substance License.
• Certification: Medical Cannabis evaluations approval through the KY Board of Nursing.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using technology, specifically our in-house EMR system (training will be provided).
