Greenthumbindustries in Ocala, FL, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our cannabis manufacturing operations. You will manage on-floor activities, ensure product quality and inventory integrity, and work closely with production staff to keep the line moving safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a track record of improving processes, and the ability to coach employees, enforce procedures, and meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a production environment.
• 2+ years in supervisory capacity.
• High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently or with teams.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (Kaizen, Gemba Walks) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees to perform proficiently and motivate others.
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve departmental policies and goals.
• Communicate expectations, plan, monitor, and assess results.
• Coach employees, plan and direct work, address performance issues.
• Create and oversee an employee training schedule emphasizing productivity.
• Monitor production output and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure safety and operating procedures are followed and enforced.
• Conduct root-cause analysis when issues arise and drive improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support budgeting goals.
