Job Title: Cannabis Production Supervisor

Job Level: Supervisor

Primary Location: Perris, CA

Job Summary: We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of our cannabis pre-roll and flower manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for Supervising both Pre-roll and Flower packaging production, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining product quality, production outputs and efficiencies, and leading our dynamic production teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production efficiency and output, always making sure teams are hitting daily production targets.
  • Lead and supervise the pre-roll and flower manufacturing teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production and flow of finished goods to fulfillment.
  • Oversee pre-roll and flower manufacturing quality, including some raw material and production supply procurement (rolling, packaging, automation, and labeling), ensuring compliance with company standards, state regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide training to production staff on proper manufacturing techniques, safety protocols, and compliance procedures. Identify opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the team.
  • Coordinate with management as needed, on implementing process improvements, equipment upgrades, and workflow optimizations.
  • Maintain and monitor communication channels with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, infusion, packaging, and distribution teams. Collaborate with other departments to address production-related issues and achieve company goals.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in production/manufacturing (cannabis is but not necessary).
  • Proven supervisory or managerial experience, with a strong track record of leading teams and achieving production targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing processes (6 sigma certification is a +)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to work weekends, extended shifts, or evenings as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business, agriculture, or biology) is but not required.
