Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Lab Technician to join the production team in Holyoke, MA. The role focuses on lab production including distillation, extraction, winterization, and cannabis-infused product manufacturing, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications include an associate or 4-year degree in relevant sciences, experience in regulated labs, and familiarity with OSHA guidelines. Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required. Must be 21+ and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Experience in regulated lab environments is preferred.
• Cannabis extraction experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lab equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction.
• Operate extraction equipment following SOPs.
• Process cannabis concentrates and extracts.
• Support production goals with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Produce products per recipes and SOPs with high quality.
• Clean and maintain extraction equipment and lab facilities.
• Store supplies and dispose of waste per guidelines and maintain sanitary work areas.
• Sterilize lab glassware and maintain cleanliness.
• Monitor production line and collect samples for analysis.
• Follow SOPs to meet GLP and GMP compliance.
• Record data in notebooks, databases, and test reports.
