Job summary

Cresco Labs in Joliet, IL is seeking a Product Development Technician to support the development, evaluation, and commercialization of new and optimized cannabis products. You will collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Quality teams to run trials, document results, and ensure product quality, consistency, compliance, and strong consumer experience across Cresco's brands.

This on-site role requires 1–3 years in lab or manufacturing and an associate degree in a science field.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Biology, Food Science, or related field
• Ability to produce accurate documentation and trial records
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Support development projects: new product development, optimization, and ingredient evaluations
• Plan and conduct product/process development trials from briefs to commercialization
• Maintain knowledge of equipment functions and troubleshooting processes
• Travel within-state or to other company locations as needed
• Record, analyze, interpret, and present technical data to support decisions
• Create prototypes and samples for stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety regulations
