Job summary

Good Day Farm in Van Buren, AR seeks a Budtender to greet patients, assist with product selections, and ensure a positive cannabis-buying experience. You will handle payments, maintain a clean sales floor, and stay compliant with state regulations while learning about new products.

Required qualities include a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to pass a background check. Prior Budtender experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
• Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
• Keeps abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
• Processes patients’ payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensures that the store is always clean and well-organized.
• Educates patients on the safe use of their selected cannabis product.
• Correctly weighs, packages, and labels cannabis products, as required.
• Checks patient’s identification documents to verify that they are of legal age and hold the necessary credentials needed to enter the dispensary and purchase product.
• Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
• Ensures that assigned opening and closing tasks are completed.
• Maintains compliance by following the proper policies and procedures set by the company and the state.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
