Responsibilities

• Oversee cultivation activities including planting, pruning, and transplanting cannabis plants.
• Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions to maximize yield.
• Participate in harvesting by trimming and processing harvested plants.
• Operate and maintain cultivation equipment and address issues.
• Review daily orders and coordinate inventory with Production/Facility Manager.
• Ensure products are stored, labeled, and recorded in Viridian Sciences POS system.
• Maintain records and audit control documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Follow SOPs to maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cultivation and production teams for efficient workflows.
• Ensure products meet quality standards before proceeding in production.
• Maintain cleaning schedules to uphold sanitation and safety standards.
• Review shift information and training updates in the Communication Binder.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in performance evaluations.

The Post-Harvest Lead responsibilities will include optimizing workflows, troubleshooting operational issues, and collaborating with management to enhance productivity and efficiency. With a commitment to compliance, quality, and team development, you’ll play a vital role in driving the success of our production efforts within this rapidly evolving industry landscape. Your key responsibilities include, but is not limited to the following:

• Oversee and assist with cultivation activities, including planting, pruning, and transplanting cannabis plants.
• Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions to ensure plant health and maximize yield.
• Participate in the harvesting process by trimming and processing harvested plants following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain cultivation equipment, ensuring proper functionality and promptly addressing any issues.
• Review daily orders to be fulfilled and coordinate the retrieval of necessary inventory to execute orders with the Production and Facility Manager.
• Ensure products are properly stored, labeled, and recorded in Viridian Sciences POS system.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records throughout the production process by auditing control documentation provided to team members.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Follow and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the cultivation and production teams to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency in production workflows.
• Ensure that all products meet established quality standards before reaching the next stage of production.
• Oversee that the established cleaning schedules and policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and adhere to sanitation regulations and safety standards are followed.
• Review the Communication Binder at the start of each shift for current information and updates.
• Conduct regular product and supply inventory audits.
• Assist in performance evaluations by providing feedback and documentation to the Production Manager.
• Maintain weekly schedules for trim and packaging to ensure there is proper coverage based on the business needs.
• Coordinate with the Director of Security the delivery of all completed orders for RMDs.
• Attend team meetings and participate in training sessions as required to enhance skills and stay updated with company protocols.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
• Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs
• Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
• General office environment
• Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
