Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking a Packaging Tech Level I to support front-line cannabis packaging tasks, including labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging. This role emphasizes hands-on work with minimal machine interaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain a clean, compliant workspace, follow SOPs, and participate in safety and teamwork. Must be 21+, able to obtain medical marijuana badge, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and packaging processes is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (as per legal requirements).
• Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cannabis packaging tasks such as labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, including the Packaging department rooms and immediate workspace, following daily cleaning protocols.
• Perform regular cleaning on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment.
• Follow standard procedures for safety and compliance.
• Report any compliance or safety errors to department leadership.
• Contribute to the overall safety and maintenance of the workspace.
• Performs other duties as assigned
