Job summary

Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation is hiring for a production role focused on high-quality medical cannabis product manufacturing. The candidate will perform assigned prep, production, packaging, inspection, and post-production tasks while adhering to SOPs, regulatory standards, and the production plan.

The role requires 1+ year manufacturing/packaging experience, familiarity with GMP-like practices, and the ability to stand for long periods while maintaining precision and safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing/packaging environments, food and beverage, commercial kitchens, labs. Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with laboratory and/or industrial food processing and preparation equipment preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage change and adjust to new people and processes.
• Flexibility in a quick moving, growing industry; startup experience preferred.
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality cannabis products in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, state policies, and product specifications.
• Meet daily production schedule and goals set by Manufacturing Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain meticulous records for all manufacturing activities for compliance and reporting.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and dispose of non-conforming items.
• Operate filling/packaging machines and other equipment.
