Job summary

Chalice Oregon is seeking a Labeling Specialist to create, manage, and maintain compliant cannabis product labeling for production, wholesale, and retail operations. You will work with Operations, Production, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing to ensure labels and branded assets are accurate and on schedule.

The role also supports marketing initiatives, develops SOPs, assists with third‑party client projects, and helps maintain packaging and label inventory.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computer systems and software.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop; Illustrator and Acrobat preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain compliant product labels per OLCC regulations and company standards.
• Cross-reference METRC, COAs, and product specs to ensure labeling accuracy.
• Produce variable data labels, strain-specific labels, correction labels, and specialty labels.
• Assist with third-party label creation for external clients.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of labels, packaging, and potency information.
• Communicate labeling discrepancies or compliance concerns to appropriate departments.
• Support marketing by creating retail materials and assets.
• Design and order business cards; assist with signage and POS materials.
• Maintain inventory of labels and packaging materials; coordinate production schedules.
• Develop and document SOPs for warehouse and labeling processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and Production teams.
