Qualifications

• Associate or 4-year degree with relevant college courses in biology, chemistry, or physics preferred.
• Prior production laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in regulated environments preferred.
• Prior extraction experience desirable, cannabis extraction highly desirable.
• Basic math skills with ability to perform calculations.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees.
• High motivation, self-direction, and ability to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction.
• Operate extraction equipment in accordance with SOPs.
• Process cannabis concentrates and extracts.
• Deliver on production goals with focus on safety and quality.
• Produce product per recipes and SOPs, maintaining high quality standards.
• Clean and maintain extraction equipment and laboratory facilities.
• Store supplies and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware.
• Monitor production line and collect samples for analysis.
• Record data in notebooks, databases, and test reports.
