Job summary

Vireo Health is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support cannabis-based medicine production, including extraction, processing, formulation, and packaging of cannabis materials. The role requires meticulous attention to safety protocols and the ability to work independently or with a team.

You will operate and maintain lab and manufacturing equipment, perform quality checks, and help ensure regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or a minimum of two years of relevant experience in manufacturing or laboratory operations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of cannabis-based medicines, including extraction and processing of cannabis material.
• Perform distillation of active cannabinoid content and other formulation activities as required.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing and laboratory equipment; assist with minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Package cannabis products according to formulation and quality standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date laboratory logs, recording all tasks performed and relevant results.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of production materials to ensure supply chain continuity.
• Provide feedback to support continuous improvement of processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure the lab and all equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly prepared for the next day's shift.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure adequate product supply to meet patient demand.
