Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. in the United States seeks a Laboratory Technician to support production of cannabis-based medicines through extraction, processing, formulation, and packaging of cannabis materials.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will perform quality checks, operate lab equipment, maintain logs, manage inventory, and help ensure product supply meets patient demand.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or a minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing or laboratory operations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production of cannabis-based medicines, including extraction and processing of cannabis material.
• Perform distillation of active cannabinoid content and formulation activities as required.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing and laboratory equipment; assist with minor repairs as needed.
• Package cannabis products according to formulation and quality standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate laboratory logs and record results.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of production materials to ensure supply chain continuity.
• Provide feedback to support process improvement for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure equipment is cleaned and prepared for the next shift.
