Job summary

Stash Ventures LLC is seeking an IPM Technician for its cultivation facilities in the Midwest. The full-time role focuses on preventing, containing, and remediating pests and diseases across the growing areas, with emphasis on careful plant examination, disease profiling, and biological controls.

The position reports to the Director of Cultivation and Cultivation Manager, with hours 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday through Wednesday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of integrated pest management practices.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check.
• Knowledge of fertilizer and/or pesticide applications.
• Knowledge of biological specimen preservation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Installs and regularly inspects arthropod trapping devices.
• Makes accurate genus and species identification and recommends least toxic treatments.
• Performs building inspections to identify structural, maintenance, and procedural modifications to reduce pest incidence.
• Maintains detailed inspection and chemical usage reports for campus structures.
• Maintains chemical inventories and MSDS sheets for chemicals used in IPM.
• Applies chemicals, baits, traps, and other pest control components safely.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
