Job summary

Glass Meadows Inc. is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of our Newton, New Jersey facilities. You will perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, plus routine maintenance to keep buildings and equipment in optimal condition for all occupants.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in regulated environments, responds to emergencies, and works evenings/weekends when needed. Pay is $25/hr with Health Insurance and 401K benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years hands-on experience in building maintenance or related roles.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (cannabis facilities) is advantageous.
• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, etc.).
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP or related trades are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of cultivation and manufacturing equipment, including HVAC, boilers, extraction machines, and grow lighting.
• Respond to work orders promptly while following safety guidelines.
• Perform regular maintenance on delivery vehicles and handle general office tasks.
• Develop and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule for critical systems.
• Coordinate with third‑party contractors for specialized maintenance or inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections and repairs.
