Job summary

Rodeo Cannabis Co. is hiring a Custodial Technician at our Sterling, CT facility to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance across production floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following SOPs in a regulated cannabis environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods during the shift.
• Able to bend, reach, kneel, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, organized spaces.
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and following SDS guidelines.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a regulated facility.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas, offices, break rooms, halls, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and care for all flooring surfaces.
• Clean and restock restrooms on a regular schedule per shift.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces per sanitation protocols.
• Clean windows, glass, and interior surfaces as needed.
• Collect, sort, and dispose of trash and recyclables per facility protocols.
• Maintain custodial supplies and report low stock or issues.
• Follow cleaning SOPs and Connecticut cannabis facility standards.
• Identify and report safety hazards or spills immediately.
