Job summary

PA Options for Wellness is seeking an Extraction Technician to work in a controlled cannabis laboratory, focusing on cannabinoid and terpene extraction. You will follow SOPs and health regulations to produce consistent finished products.

The role demands precise data logging, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced lab environment. Training will cover solventless and solvent-based methods, with daily 7:00am to 3:30pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience using multiple extraction techniques to optimize active component extraction.
• Experience with laboratory equipment to process raw materials.
• Ability to work in a team to meet performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and plant materials for extraction of crude cannabis oil
• Operate extraction production equipment safely per SOPs and regulations
• Handle hazardous materials and dispose of waste per SOPs/MSDS
• Maintain logs, batch data, and state documentation
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly equipment checks to ensure production goals
• Maintain inventory records and order supplies as needed
• Follow all SOPs for product creation and lab safety
• Run equipment to meet daily production and efficiency goals
• All other duties as assigned
