Job summary

JARS Cannabis is seeking an Extraction Production Assistant to support safe and efficient cannabis oil extraction from biomass. The role covers preparation, operation, post-production, and cleaning, ensuring strict SOP and state regulation adherence.

You will work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with potentially hazardous materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of maintaining detailed logs and batch records while supporting production

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cannabis concentrate production processes.
• Familiarity with post-production equipment and cleaning procedures.
• Experience logging batch records and compliance documentation.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills for weighing and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare biomass for extraction (weighing, loading, labeling).
• Monitor extraction equipment per SOPs.
• Perform post-processing tasks and cleaning.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and sanitation.
• Keep accurate batch logs and QC records.
• Handle solvents and chemicals safely per OSHA protocols.
• Report issues to supervisors promptly.
• Support R&D activities when needed.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in C1D1 environments.
