Job summary

The Good-Day-Farm in Springfield, MO is seeking a Budtender to greet patients, help with product selections, and ensure a wonderful patient experience. You’ll weigh, package, label products, process payments, and keep the store clean and compliant.

Qualified candidates have a High school diploma or GED, solid communication skills, and the ability to pass a background check and obtain a state card. Prior Budtender experience is welcome but not required; teamwork and problem-solving are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
• Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
• Keeps abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
• Processes patients’ payments using the dispensary's POS system.
• Ensures that the store is always clean and well-organized.
• Educates patients on the safe use of their selected cannabis product.
• Correctly weighs, packages, and labels cannabis products.
• Checks patient’s identification documents to verify legal age and necessary credentials.
• Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures shelves are stocked.
• Ensures opening/closing tasks are completed.
• Maintains compliance with company and state policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
