Windy City Cannabis is hiring a Security Dispensary Associate to serve on the front line of our cannabis dispensary. You will ensure a safe, secure environment and handle customer interactions with professionalism.

The role requires detailed knowledge of security procedures, ability to operate the POS, and adherence to Illinois cannabis regulations. Eligible candidates must be 21+, with potential for growth in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain Illinois dispensing agent ID.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Retail or hospitality experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Must maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying customer age and ID at entry.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems.
• Respond to disturbances and de-escalate incidents.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.
• Operate as cashier with POS mastery and provide customer service.
• Assist with deliveries and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with state cannabis security regulations.
