Job summary

Mister Jones Dispensary of Little Falls in New Jersey is seeking a Dispensary General Manager to lead store and sales operations, delivering best-in-class customer experiences while aligning with Ascend Wellness Holdings values.

The GM will drive revenue, manage menus, pricing and promotions, supervise payroll and staffing, and ensure regulatory compliance in the cannabis industry. This onsite role requires strong leadership, organizational prowess, and a commitment to integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting
• Knowledge of POS operations and inventory control systems
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements and SOPs
• Background checks required
• Must obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card
• Excellent organization and time management

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue, profitability, and target performance through strategic planning and data-driven decisions
• Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies regularly
• Optimize menus, pricing, and promotions with Corporate teams
• Approve payroll, PTO, and overtime; manage budgets and reporting
• Test and scale revenue-driving initiatives across functions
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to improve store performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards in cannabis operations
• Oversee inventory control and POS operations
• Review invoices and performance reports
