Proper Cannabis seeks an Assistant General Manager for its Festus-East dispensary. This full-time, non-exempt role supports the General Manager and leads a team of Care Specialists to deliver high-quality patient care in compliance with Missouri laws.

Responsibilities include daily operations, policy execution, scheduling, inventories, and safety. This internal-position requires leadership experience, strong communication, and a deep knowledge of cannabis products and regulations.

Qualifications

• Missouri cannabis laws knowledge required.
• Able to obtain a Missouri Agent ID.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean MV report per company policy.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains and effects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily dispensary operations.
• Collaborate on policies, procedures and best practices.
• Ensure financial and operational goals are achieved.
• Maintain compliant reports and audits for POS, inventory, and security.
• Oversee safety protocols and staff training.
• Manage scheduling and patient relations.
• Support budtenders and dispensary staff as needed.
• Serve as a role model for staff on product knowledge.
