Job summary

The Forest Lakewood LLC is seeking a Dispensary Associate to guide guests in selecting medical cannabis products and provide education for optimal patient outcomes. You will engage with guests from entry to purchase, delivering excellent service while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, dosing education, product labeling compliance, and responsive support by phone.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent.
• Must be able to pass all background check requirements and obtain licensing as set forth by the Division of Cannabis Control.
• Retail or hospitality experience, preferred.
• Must be able to work opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Register customer into the system using their patient ID card and photo identification; verify the patient card status with Metrc; check guest into the POS system.
• Using OARRS, verify days' supply at check-in and checkout to prevent overselling.
• Adhere to doctors' notes for dosing, medication type, and administration.
• Provide education to patients on product types, uses, and dosage for their condition.
• Confirm medication pulled matches POS entry by checking labels against the cart.
