Jushi Holdings Inc. in Scranton, PA, seeks a Cultivation Technician to support daily cultivation operations in our Cultivation Department. The role requires hands-on plant work, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with management to ensure timely completion of duties.

The ideal candidate has a horticulture or related degree or 2+ years of cultivation experience, and possesses strong attention to detail, communication, and basic math skills. This is an onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, Plant Biology, or 2+ years of plant cultivation experience.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Knowledge of large-scale commercial plant cultivation, including nutrient requirements, growing media, light, temperature control, and airflow.
• Experience with compliance systems.
• Advanced cannabis plant and genetics knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local cannabis laws and regulations.
• Ability to use standard office software (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email).

Responsibilities

• Complete any work assigned during scheduled shifts.
• Provide support to management to ensure cultivation duties are completed per SOPs.
• Initial Cultivation Associate duties involve essential cultivation operations and may expand.
• Daily: plant work, big leaf and bottom stripping, data input, cleaning and prep.
• Weekly: spot cleaning, flipping flower blocks, consolidating trays, planting coco cubes, watering, light maintenance.
• Monthly: harvesting, predatory insects, IPM monitoring, inventory counts, safety meetings, taking clones, rotating mother plants.
• Follow all SOPs, safety, and GMP/GACP guidelines while performing duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work with other employees and inspectors as needed.
