Job summary

Fluent Cannabis is seeking a Cultivation Associate in Chestertown, NY to support day-to-day cultivation operations in a medical cannabis facility. The role requires teamwork, strict safety, and adherence to GMP/GACP standards in a fast-paced environment.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
21+ years of age per NY State regulations.
Bachelor’s or higher in Horticulture, Plant Science, Botany, or related field preferred.
Prior nursery, landscaping, or agricultural experience preferred.
Experience in medical cannabis or healthcare organizations a plus.
Any relevant technical certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

Participate in cultivation duties such as pruning, training, transplanting, watering, harvesting, and sanitation.
Maintain accurate BioTrack records for plant movements and production.
Assist in harvest activities including trimming, drying, and packaging.
Follow NY State regulations and GMP/GACP guidelines in daily tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and proper PPE usage in all cultivation areas.
Collaborate with team to meet department objectives.
