Job summary

The Budtender role at Green Dragon, part of Vireo, is a customer‑facing position in our Florida stores and production facility. You will deliver high‑quality service, share cannabis knowledge, and help keep shelves stocked and compliant while ensuring a positive in‑store experience.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 8‑hour shifts including nights and weekends, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Sales experience in a retail store is preferred.
• Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and obtain fingerprints within 72 hours of offer letter.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Reliable transportation to the store.
• Availability to work 8-hour day and night shifts, plus weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in customers in a friendly, welcoming manner and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Assist customers in store and over the phone and process online orders accurately.
• Encourage sales by engaging customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Use the POS system accurately and follow proper cash handling, safe audit, and change drop procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain a full understanding of the training and compliance binder.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards, ensuring signage, price tickets, and marketing materials are visible and up to date.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well‑stocked store and complete general housekeeping duties.
• Bring a positive attitude that contributes to a positive, customer‑focused work environment.
