Job summary

Greenhill Humane Society is seeking a Canine Program Manager to lead our canine team and oversee the care, welfare, behavior, housing, enrichment, and placement of dogs in our shelter.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing staff, making sound welfare decisions, and coordinating with Veterinary, Foster, Volunteer, Outreach, and Customer Service teams to improve outcomes for dogs and the people who care about them.

Responsibilities

• Lead the canine team and oversee care, welfare, behavior, housing, enrichment, and placement of dogs in the shelter.

Greenhill Humane Society is looking for a people-centered Canine Program Manager to lead our canine team and oversee the care, welfare, behavior, housing, enrichment, and placement of dogs in our shelter.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can develop people, make sound animal welfare decisions, manage competing priorities, and keep a busy canine program moving forward. You’ll work closely with Veterinary, Foster, Volunteer, Outreach, and Customer Service teams while helping shape policies, systems, and pathways that improve outcomes for dogs and the people who care about them.

Salary: $52,000–$56,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
