Essential Job Functions

1. Explain the inspection process to clients and demonstrate bed bug detection capabilities.
2. Conduct thorough inspections to identify bed bugs.
3. Maintain the grooming, training, and readiness of the detection dog.
4. Care for the dog outside of work hours, including feeding, grooming, exercising, and veterinary visits.
5. Work indoors and outdoors, prepared for various weather conditions.
6. Wear PPE such as OSHA-compliant respirators when necessary.
7. Operate a company vehicle safely and keep all equipment clean.

Qualifications Needed

• Clean-shaven face for safety reasons (to ensure proper sealing of rebreathers).
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Successful background check.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday as needed.
• Strong communication skills and basic math skills.
• Relevant licenses or certifications (covered by us).
• Customer service experience preferred.
