Job summary

Dogtopia in San Diego is seeking energetic individuals to join our dog daycare team. You will help manage large groups of dogs, keep playrooms clean, and support meals and care in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must love dogs, be able to stand most of the shift, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for growth in a dog-friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of shift.
• Ability to work flexible days including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of large groups of dogs.
• Keep playrooms clean of messes at all times.
• Cleaning includes mopping, sweeping, trash, and water refill.
• Be proactive to ensure dogs are in a clean and safe environment.
• Able to perform meal prep with little or no guidance.
• Store daycare and boarding belongings properly with correct labels.
• Bathe and nail clip when needed (training provided).
• Learn to identify dog breeds and behaviors.
• Report dog scuffles promptly for safe wound cleaning if needed.
• Work with team to uphold quality of care standards.
• Care for all furry friends as if they were part of your family.
• Engage, play, and enjoy the furry friends!

What you'll do

• Maintain control of large groups of dog
• Keeping playrooms clean of messes at all times
• Cleaning includes mopping, sweeping, trash, and water refill
• Being proactive in making sure dogs are always in a clean and safe environment is key!
• Able to perform meal prep with little or no guidance
• Stores daycare and boarding belongings properly with correct labels
• Bathe and nail clip when needed (training is proved)
• Learn how to identify dog breeds and behaviors
• Report dog scuffles right when they occur for safe wound cleaning if needed
• Work with team to assure our quality of care sets the standards for dog care
• Caring for all furry friends as if they were a part of your family
• Engage, play, and enjoy the furry friends!

Compensation: $17.25 hourly
