Job summary

Legacy Franchise Concepts, LP in Portland, Oregon, is hiring a Canine Coach for Dogtopia's daycare, boarding and spa services. You will help manage playrooms, supervise dogs, and support a fun, fast-paced team dedicated to canine care.

Candidates must love dogs, be energetic and organized, and be willing to learn. Starting pay is $16.80 hourly, with opportunities for training and advancement, and telehealth for you and household.

• Able to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends
• Able to work cohesively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of large groups of dog
• Keep playrooms clean
• Clean including mopping, sweeping, trash and water refill
• Identify dog breeds and behaviors
• Bathe and nail clip when needed (training provided)
• Engage, play and care for all dogs
• Report dog scuffles for safe wound cleaning if needed
• Work with team to maintain standards of care
• Care for all furry friends as if they were family

What you'll do

• Maintain control of large groups of dog
• Keeping playrooms clean of messes at all times
• Cleaning includes mopping, sweeping, trash, and water refill
• Being proactive in making sure dogs are always in a clean and safe environment is key!
• Able to perform meal prep with little or no guidance
• Stores daycare and boarding belongings properly with correct labels
• Bathe and nail clip when needed (training is proved)
• Learn how to identify dog breeds and behaviors
• Report dog scuffles right when they occur for safe wound cleaning if needed
• Work with team to assure our quality of care sets the standards for dog care
• Caring for all furry friends as if they were a part of your family
• Engage, play, and enjoy the furry friends!
