About the Role
As a Canine Cleanup Specialist, you'll work alongside a teammate each day to service a scheduled route of residential properties. You'll remove dog waste, follow our structured service procedures, and document each visit using our mobile app.
Because you'll spend much of your day working alongside the same teammate, strong communication, reliability, and mutual respect are essential to success.
This is a physically active, outdoor position that requires attention to detail, personal accountability, and a commitment to doing quality work every day.

What We're Looking For

- Notices details that others often overlook
- Communicates openly and respectfully

- Can lift and carry at least 30 pounds throughout the day

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who naturally cares about doing quality work—not because someone is watching, but because that's simply who they are.
Our Culture
At Pooptopia, we believe doing the job right is more important than simply getting it done quickly.
Our clients trust us with their homes, their pets, and their time. We take that responsibility seriously.
We value teammates who:
- Show up when they're scheduled.
- Communicate early if something unexpected happens.
- Support and respect their teammates.
- Take ownership when mistakes occur.
- Look for solutions instead of excuses.
- Leave every property better than they found it.
Sometimes that means taking one last walk around the yard before leaving. Other times it may mean bringing in an empty trash can or picking up a piece of litter while you're already there. Those small, thoughtful moments aren't required—but they reflect the level of care that makes Pooptopia different.
Qualifications
- High school student, high school graduate, or equivalent
- Previous customer service, outdoor work, cleaning, landscaping, or labor experience is helpful but not required
We believe character, work ethic, and communication are far more important than previous experience. We can teach our process—we can't teach someone to genuinely care about doing a great job.
Compensation & Additional Earnings
- Competitive hourly pay based on performance and reliability
- Additional pay for qualifying initial cleanups
- Client referral bonus opportunities
- Opportunities for increased responsibility as Pooptopia continues to grow
