Job summary

Ferrara in DeKalb is seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety in candy production. Responsibilities include adhering to sanitation standards, managing cleaning procedures, and mentoring team members. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in food sanitation and knowledge of food safety principles. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years sanitation experience in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals essential.
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000 food safety and GMP principles required.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant sanitation procedures ensuring clean and safe production.
• Adhere to sanitation, GMP, and safety standards.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss quality and sanitation improvements.
