Job summary

Elmer Chocolate is seeking dependable associates for our Ponchatoula, LA chocolate factory, the oldest family-owned chocolate company in America. You will work on an assembly line with automated robotic machinery, placing trays and lids and boxing displays for store shelves.

This position offers a 5am to 3pm schedule, weekly pay, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team in a busy, aroma-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly line and robotic machinery on chocolate production
• Place trays & lids on the line and box displays for store shelves
• Stand for extended periods and perform required physical tasks

$13 - $15/hour ($13/base + $2/hr. Perfect Attendance Premium)

WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this position is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3pm and alternating Fridays for approximately 4 hours of cleaning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old & pass drug screen(s)
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand & walk for 10 hours
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity
