Job summary

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, calibrate, clean, maintain and troubleshoot equipment
Clean, maintain and prepare supplies and work areas; assist with ordering and vendor coordination
Perform standardized biological, microbiological, or biochemical tests and analyses
Isolate, identify and prepare specimens for examination
Analyze experimental data; write reports and grant-related summaries
Participate in grant applications and manuscript preparation as required
Maintain detailed notebooks of all work activities
Monitor lab safety and compliance with SOPs
Stay current with relevant literature and research publications
May contribute to SOP development and design of advanced experiments
