Job summary

Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician with cancer rehabilitation expertise to join our multidisciplinary oncology team.

You will collaborate with medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, therapists, and supportive care specialists to improve function, mobility, symptom management, and quality of life for oncology patients across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency.
• Fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in Cancer Rehabilitation/Oncology Rehabilitation preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, therapists, and support staff to improve function, mobility, symptom management, and quality of life for oncology patients.
• Provide comprehensive rehabilitative care to oncology patients across the cancer care continuum.
• Academic involvement opportunities through Brown University Health's affiliation with Brown University.
