A healthcare organization is seeking an Oncology Data Specialist to manage oncology data compliance and support accreditation efforts. The role offers flexible work schedules and involves responsibilities such as utilizing electronic medical records and coordinating case presentations. Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management and relevant certifications. Located in Juneau, Alaska, this position offers competitive hourly pay between $18.81 and $24.99.
Obtains and inputs oncology data to support accreditation follow up in compliance with state and national standards. Trains to become an Oncology Data Specialist – Certified (ODS-C) under the supervision of an ODS-C.
