Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Cancer Center is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration. This executive will lead the Center's administrative and financial operations, including budgeting, grants, HR, and clinical research support, while partnering with campus and hospital leaders.

The role requires building a strong leadership team, overseeing CCSG activities, and guiding the Center's strategic planning and resource management in a large, matrixed academic medical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, healthcare, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field.
• Advanced degree preferred; substitution allowed for experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of the Center's administrative and financial operations including finance, grants/contracts, HR, clinical research ops, IT, space, communications, and general administration.
• Lead and develop a management team with expertise in finance, research administration, IT, and communications.
• Oversee NCI CCSG activities, including preparation and submission of the CCSG application.
• Lead strategic planning and monitor the Center's strategic plan.
• Oversee management of Center Shared Resources and fundraising collaboration.
