Job description

The Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center Infusion Center Concierge offers white glove customer service to our patients and families.

Concierge staff are expected to promote and demonstrate excellent customer service and build meaningful relationships through engaging and informed conversations with Patients and Visitors via face-to-face interactions. Work may be stressful at times; contact with upset, frustrated, or emotional guests requires maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. This position requires exemplary hospitality skills, knowledge of the local area, and availability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide uncompromising service to hospital patients and their visitors.
  2. Promote and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  3. Coordinate New Patient Orientations and visits, including support from pet therapy, chaplain, and other support services.
  4. Assist in resolving real-time patient concerns and empower patients to make decisions, escalating issues appropriately.
  5. Serve as a liaison for infusion center volunteers and collaborate regularly with the Infusion Center Charge Nurse, Front Desk, and Supportive Care Services teams.
  6. Coach other employees on customer service opportunities and promptly escalate concerns to management.
Position Details:

Compensation Range: $15.00 - $20.34 Hourly

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent; Bachelors in Hospitality preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in hospitality industry such as hotel, restaurant, retail, or similar; strongly preferred.
  • Licensure: None
Physical Demands:

Position requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent driving, traveling, and bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
