Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years of related clinical nursing experience required; oncology nursing experience preferred.
• MSN or DNP in lieu of a BSN may substitute for the educational requirement.
• SC RN licensure or compact state required; current AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to patients and caregivers to navigate the healthcare system and overcome barriers to care.
• Promote informed decision‑making and timely access to quality patient care.
• Serve as a communication link between multidisciplinary providers, both internal and external to MUSC.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and facilitate initial treatment planning activities.
