The role emphasizes a strong passion for economics, Canada-specific insights, and high-quality written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will produce the Canada Economic & Market Update, a weekly Canada brief, and contribute to other market-related publications.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Canadian French.
• Three years of work experience in financial services preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for economics and financial markets.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, FactSet or other commonly used data sources.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Market Strategists with macroeconomic and capital market research.
• Prepare Canada Economic & Market Update and Canada weekly economic brief in English and Canadian French.
• Contribute to the Weekly Market Recap and assist with the U.S. Guide to the Markets content.
• Record short-form videos and respond to client questions with timely analysis.
• Collaborate with the lead Strategist for Canada and synthesize team views into independent analyses.
