Job summary

Walmart Canada in Kirkland, QC is seeking an overnight stocking team lead to guide department processes, respond to problems, and develop associates through teaching and training.

You will coordinate priorities with the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management, supervise safety, scheduling, and performance growth conversations, while maintaining a secure, clean workspace.

The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of $21.85 CAD, with opportunities to contribute to recruiting and daily audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight stocking tasks and department processes as directed by GM Coach and Store Management.
• Assess department presentation and execute merchandising changes as needed.
• Maintain strong communication with associates; lead daily Team Huddle and share updates and goals.
• Ensure high-ticket items and doors are secured; complete daily audits as required.
• Review schedules with People Lead and adjust as needed.
• Identify training opportunities during area tours and develop associates through teaching.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following company policy and safety logs.
• Support GTA/Workday tasks and assist Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance discussions and assist recruiting.

Position Summary...

Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.

What You'll Do...

• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
