Position Summary

Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Produce Stocker provides excellent customer service by adhering to Walmart's core values, maintains and zones the produce area, and assists with stocking and sales of goods. What you'll do

1. Zone the department.
2. Rotate stock and check for expired products.
3. Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Follow standards and policies for cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, and expiration dates.
5. Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures.
6. Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
7. Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
8. Follow health and safety guidelines.
9. Stock merchandise, pick, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set up modulars including flex modulars and shelf caps.
