Job summary

Chesterman Co. Coca Cola is seeking a full-time production associate to start up, operate, and shut down equipment on the can line, with backup on the bottle line, at our Sioux City, IA facility.

You will run the can line filler/seamer, operate palletizers and other packaging equipment, monitor multipackers, and ensure safety and cleanliness. Flexible hours may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipment.
• Strong communication and dexterity skills are required.
• Problem solving abilities are necessary for handling production issues.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all machinery on the can line and bottle line.
• Watch operation of palletizers and maintain safe, efficient production.
• Change over products and keep multipacker running smoothly.
• Maintain clean work areas and report issues to supervisor.
• Work extended hours or days as production requires.

Ear protection is required in production areas. Eye protection required while on forklift. Must wear hair/beard net in designated areas.
