Job summary

Seneca Foods in Baraboo, WI is seeking a can line operator to run and maintain the can line, monitor equipment, perform preventive checks, troubleshoot issues, and keep the line clean while ensuring quality on the production floor.

Applicants should have strong general mechanical knowledge and the ability to repair and maintain line equipment, with readiness to take a mechanical aptitude test at the interview. ADA accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• General mechanical knowledge and ability to repair and maintain all assembly equipment.
• Must pass mechanical aptitude test.
• Mechanical aptitude test will be taken at interview.

Responsibilities

• Operate the can line and run equipment on the line.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair the line.
• Record materials used on line plate and ends along with maintenance parts.
• Keep line clean and perform quality checks; ensure guards are in place.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
